What to wear for a Portrait shoot? For family or groups blend your colours. Compliment the colours of your clothes to match.
Generally strong colours work best as opposed to pale pink and white.
Sometimes your socks may be in shot, so it’s good to have them matching too!

Babies & Children - For children and babies have them photographed in clothes they usually wear rather than buying an outfit especially for the shoot. - so when you look back at your photograph / s you see your child as you remember them. Also bring their favourite toy, it is good for their familiarity and again good to look back on as they grow.
Bare feet look great in photographs of babies and young children.
Try to book your shoot around baby’s sleep and feeding times (Yes, I know it’s all the time)...

Before the shoot, for young children keep the excitement and expectations low key, so as they do not get anxious about the experience. Forget saying 'smile", as natural expression shows through best.

Portrait shoots are done in the studio, but if you prefer you can have them taken in your own home or even in your nearby park.
